Megan is an experienced TuiNa practitioner. Tui means “push” and Na “pull”. This ancient eastern bodywork form uses palpating, kneading, shaking, pressing and rolling along the channels and their acupuncture points, and also along the musculoskeletal system and its fascia. The focus is both energetic and structural. She also incorporates abdominal massage into her treatments. The Chinese technique “Chi Nei Tsang” works with the viscera (organs) to diagnose and treat the whole body. Chinese medicine views pain and sickness as energetic stagnation, and views health as energetic free flow. TuiNa and Chi Nei Tsang compliment acupuncture in restoring the body’s healthy flow of Qi. Megan provides stand-alone TuiNa sessions for 60-90 minutes.

Lastly, Megan is a Registered Yoga Teacher, RYT-200, she offers a Harmonium Yin Yoga class on Friday afternoon from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Megan loves calling the Old Pueblo home! Outside of work, she enjoys chasing her toddler. Her favorite ways to move, beyond the mat, are dancing and hiking.
